Across Bangladesh, NGOs and community organizations keep resthouses, retreat centers, training venues and old bungalows. They were built for project work, and between project cycles most of their rooms sit empty. Many stand in places travelers rarely reach: river country, tea hills, villages with their own food and music.
Berai audits each Facility against one quality standard, gives it a page that does it justice, and brings guests to it. The organization stays the host, and its name leads: every stay is “Hosted by” the team that runs it. Berai collects every payment online before arrival, and the organization receives its share after each completed stay.
